A small and solitary side trail led to this spectacular view of outrageous sandstone folds that contrasted beautifully with white sandstone peaks. In the valley below, the main trail was busy with hikers and climbers heading up Ash Canyon, while untold crowds of visitors were exploring the Sandstone Quarry area just over the ridge.
